I am a qualified nanny with over 20 years childcare experience (10 years as a nanny and 11 years as a teaching assistant.
I am on the DBS update service, have a current first aid certificate and many excellent references.
I live between Bristol and Bath with my husband, two teenage sons and our adopted rescue greyhound. I love being active and enjoy walking, hiking, running, yoga and going to the gym. I also love to read, bake and spend time with my family.
My Experience
My nanny experience has been with children from 6 weeks old up to 15 years. My duties included providing attentive, nurturing care, organising age appropriate activities to promote learning and development, maintaining a safe and clean environment, supporting emotional development by setting boundaries and fostering positive relationships and preparing meals.
My experience as a teaching assistant has been from reception up to and including year 6. I have worked both as a general class TA and 1:1 as a special needs teaching assistant. My SEN experience includes Downs Syndrome, ASD, ADHD, Trauma, Global Delay, Speech and Language Delay, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Social and Emotional Mental Health needs.

My Availability
I can be incredibly flexible with days and hours, for the right family. Although I am not looking for evening/overnight/weekend work I am happy to accommodate on an ADHOC basis.
