My Experience

A bit about my experience and Kit and Cubs Childcare.

I am Holly, a 31-year-old mother to Kit. I bring a wealth of hands-on experience and a lifelong passion for caring for children. As a full-time mother to my 2-year-old son, I understand the importance of providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
My journey in childminding began early, as I grew up working alongside my mother in her successful childminding business. This invaluable experience gave me deep insight into creating a safe, supportive, and educational space for children.
Over the past seven years, I have had the privilege of caring for four wonderful children prior to having my son. These years allowed me to develop strong relationships with families, build trust, and adapt my care to the unique needs of each child.
Recently, I became an Ofsted-registered childminder—a significant milestone that reflects my dedication to professionalism and excellence in childcare. This qualification not only enables me to provide top-tier care for children but also allows me to balance my family life and my husband's work commitments while supporting other families in achieving the same balance.
Through Kits and Cubs, I am committed to offering personalized, high-quality care that helps children flourish emotionally, socially, and developmentally.

My Qualifications

• Paediatric First Aid.
• Developing children’s learning.
• Childminding at home course (Ofsted Recognised).
• DBS Check.
• Safeguarding children and designated lead.
Also waiting on a new Ofsted ref number. ( all qualifications have been done to Ofsted levels and expectations).

My Availability

I am Available from my home most days and last minute ( this is set us like a day care business so very safe and lots to do), from your own can be arranged also.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

Fees can be discussed if on a routine basis or for longer periods of time.
