My Experience
Good day, prospective host family. I hope this finds you well and in good spirits. My name is Miss Chiedza Magaya, and I'm honored to be able to share with you my childcare experience and why I'm excited at the prospect of being your Au pair.
I come from a warm and loving family and I'm the only child of my mother , so I grew up being a natural caregiver to my younger siblings (cousins). I became even more passionate about taking care of children when my aunts gave birth to their children. I was only 15 years old then, but I was fascinated by how tiny and delicate my cousins were, and I wanted nothing more than to help my aunts care for their children.
Fast forward to today, I have been helping families with their childcare needs for years. I have experience in watching children from as young as zero months up to five years old. During this time, I have learnt how to handle different temperaments, feeding, burping, changing diapers, engaging in play, helping with homework and putting the children to bed at night.
What I love most about caring for children is that it allows me to use my creativity, sense of humor, and imagination to interact with them. Whether we are reading books, playing games, or simply talking, I believe that fostering children's curiosity, imagination, and emotional development is immensely rewarding.
Lastly, I know you have a choice as to who you select as your Au pair, and I would be honored to be chosen. I believe that my experience and passion for child care make me an ideal candidate, and I look forward to the opportunity to learn from your family and become part of your community.
