Hi, I’m Amy – mum to a bright and curious one-year-old boy. We’re based in Oxford and are currently looking for a part-time nanny to help care for him while I work.
I’m someone who values kindness, communication, and a nurturing approach to childcare. I lean towards responsive parenting and try to follow my child’s lead while supporting his emotional development. I’m especially interested in brain development, natural parenting, and creating a calm, engaging environment where children can explore and thrive. I’m not rigid or dogmatic though - you don’t need to follow any particular philosophy, but I’d love to find someone who’s warm, emotionally attuned, and respectful of little ones’ feelings and autonomy.
I currently work for a tech company and love literature and the arts. I also understand how important your role is – not just practically, but in shaping a child’s sense of safety and joy. I want our home to feel like a welcoming, relaxed place for you to work, with open communication and mutual respect.

My Requirements
I’m looking for a part-time nanny to care for my one-year-old son on Thursdays and Fridays from around 8am to 5pm (somewhat flexible). Responsibilities will include playing, preparing meals/snacks, naptime, and getting out for fresh air when the weather allows.
My son is a happy, energetic guy who is excited to explore the world. He loves variety, problem solving and playing indoors or out. He is affectionate and loving, truly a pleasure to be around. He is not quite walking yet, but he crawls and cruises around with joy!
