About Me
Hi I’m Libby, I am patient and caring and would love the opportunity to assist you in providing the best care for your child/children. I am a university student studying neuroscience with a passion for reading and the outdoors. I will be looking to provide babysitting/child care for parents or guardians who may need it, I have experience with children of all ages but mainly babies and toddlers. I’d be glad to provide care whenever needed as I have a flexible schedule as well as assist in house hold tasks if needed.
My Experience
I am experienced in childcare, first aid certified, and available for all ages though I’m mostly experienced with babies/toddlers. I have worked at a children’s play centre for 2+ years providing entertainment, food and care for a variation of children including those with special needs. This year I also spent time abroad as an au pair caring for a 3 month old as well as a 2 year old which i absolutely adored. My duties generally involved feeding, entertaining and putting the baby to sleep. In previous years I have done light babysitting for neighbours toddlers and babies whilst assisting the older children with homework and other house hold chores.
My Qualifications
I received my Youth First Aid qualification through my time in the Royal Air Force Cadets. I also received a distinction 2 grade at GCSE in Child Development.
My Availability
I am available most days with advance notice due to my flexible schedule over summer.
