About Me
I am a registered childminder with CIW to care for children from birth to 12 but can also care for children over 12 outside of school hours. I will be childminding from my own home and my husband, and I hold an up-to-date DBS certificate. I’ve worked with children for over 15 years in day nurseries and primary schools. I have 2 daughters which go to the local primary and secondary schools. I want to provide a safe and fun environment for the children i care for.
My Experience
I've worked in a busy day nursery in London for 4 years with children 0-5 years. I then moved back to wales and worked as a teaching assistant in a Cardiff primary school and for the last year i've been an attendance officer/office support in a Newport primary school.
Training over the years includes - Makaton, jolly phonics, safeguarding, wellcomm early language intervention, schemas of play, restorative practice, positive handling and language and play.
My Qualifications
CACHE level 3 childcare, learning and development.
Full 3 day paediatric first aid course and 14 years of yearly first aid refresher courses.
All necessary childminding qualifications.
My Availability
Open Monday - Friday 7am - 5.30pm (5pm on Fridays)
I offer drop off and pick up to and from Jubilee Park Primary school.
Jubilee Park Nursery PM session wrap around.
Limited school holiday care.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
£6 per hour (full time or jubilee nursery wrap around- 6 hrs minimum per day)
£12 school drop off (07:00 – 08:50 session time)
£15 school pick up (15:15 – 17:30 session time) (15:15 – 17:00 on Friday)
£25 If you need both drop off and pick up in the same day.
