About Me
We are a busy, friendly family of five living near Killinchy with three children (two in primary school and one in secondary) and a bouncy dog.
Both my husband and I work but have flexibility so we are looking for someone who can work part time to help juggle childcare as well as keep our household running smoothly.
We’d love to find someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children, brings a sense of calm, and can help us create more structure and consistency in our daily routines. Our household thrives with clear communication, practical support and a good dose of humour!
This is a varied and rewarding role combining childcare and light housekeeping. We’re looking for someone who’s confident managing their own time, enjoys being busy, and can adapt to the natural chaos and joy of family life.
My Requirements
Childcare:
• Collect children from bus and supervise until we are home
• Support with homework, snacks, and after-school routines
• Bring a calm, structured presence to the afternoons
• Additional support during school holidays and occasional evening/weekend babysitting
• Build positive and supportive relationships with the children
Housekeeping:
• General tidying and household organisation
• Daily cleaning tasks, laundry and ironing
• Prepare simple, healthy meals for the family
• Grocery shopping and keeping household supplies stocked
• Light pet care (e.g. feeding or occasional dog walks)
