My Summary
About Me
Hi! I'm Miriam, an enthusiastic and academically driven student currently completing the International Baccalaureate (IB) with a predicted score of 40 out of 45. I’m an offer holder for Medical Biosciences at Imperial College London 2025 and passionate about helping younger students to reach their full potential.
At GCSE, I achieved six grade 9s (including Chemistry, Physics, French, and English Language), three grade 8s (in Maths, Biology, and PE), and have a strong academic foundation across the sciences, languages, and humanities. I now study Higher Level Chemistry, Biology, and Economics in the IB therefore, I’m confident in supporting students from Key Stage 2 up to GCSE/IGCSE level — especially in the sciences and English.
I’m patient, encouraging, and prefer tailoring my sessions to suit each student’s needs, whether that’s building confidence, improving exam technique, or clarifying tricky topics. I’d love to support your child over the summer with revision, homework help, or preparation for next year.

My Experience
Although I’m only just starting out formally as a tutor, I’ve had hands-on experience supporting my younger sister with her GCSEs — especially in subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English - and she is now predicted similar to the grades I achieved. As a result, I’ve developed a patient and flexible approach, helping to explain difficult topics clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
I’m also confident with drawing from my own academic journey — achieving top GCSE grades myself and currently studying Higher Level sciences and Economics in the IB — to guide students effectively. I’m passionate about helping others succeed and always aim to create a supportive, encouraging learning environment.
