My Summary

My Experience

I have several babysitting experience with different families. I’ve looked after two young girls for one of my neighbours, helped care for a child with learning difficulties for another local family and regularly babysat for a family with both a girl and a boy. These experiences have taught me how to adapt to different children’s needs and personalities, and I always aim to create a safe, fun and supportive environment.

In addition to babysitting, I’ve completed work experience in a primary school, where I helped in the classroom and supported children with their learning. I’m also a Peer Mentor at university, which has strengthened my communication and leadership skills. I genuinely love spending time with children and tend to build strong connections with them quite naturally.

As a bonus, I’m bilingual in French and happy to offer basic French tutoring or fun language activities during babysitting sessions if parents are interested.

My Qualifications

I hold the French Brevet (equivalent to GCSEs) and the Baccalauréat (equivalent to AAB A-levels), with a focus on Social and Economic Sciences, Philosophy and English. After that, I completed an Art Foundation Diploma at Kingston College, where I earned a Distinction. I’m now an undergraduate student at the University of Exeter, studying International Relations, and currently on track for a First Class degree. My education has helped me build strong communication, organisation and leadership skills, all of which I bring to my work with children.
