About Me

Hi, I’m a mum of two and I’m so excited to be opening up my home to other families starting this September!

We moved to the area three years ago, and like many parents, I’ve experienced the challenges of juggling a demanding job with family life. I spent years commuting into the city, always rushing back to pick up my eldest from the only nursery that had availability — it closed at 5pm and only ran during term time. When I had my second son, I realised something had to change.

That’s when I discovered childminding — and it just clicked. I know first-hand how hard it is to find flexible, trustworthy childcare that works around your hours, not just school hours. My aim is to provide a home-from-home environment where your little ones are cared for all day, including during school holidays, so you can focus on your work without worrying.

I’m currently in the process of becoming Ofsted registered and will begin welcoming children from September.

Before this, I worked as a chef in London, and food is still a huge part of our lives. I love cooking meals from around the world and exploring where our food comes from — it’s something I enjoy sharing with the children too. I provide fresh, home-cooked meals and treats daily, and we often cook together as part of our learning and play.

As a family, we spend loads of time outdoors — in the garden, at local parks, farms, playgroups, and the library. We believe in fresh air and fun whatever the weather (so don’t forget your wellies — puddles are always a hit!).
