About Me
I am an ofsted registered childminder and have been registered for 22 years. I live with my husband and have three children, all of whom are grown up and living away from the family home. I live in a four bedroom chalet bungalow in Fetcham, with a large rear secure garden which is used all year round. I offer a loving home environment with a vast amount or toys and resources. I have a daily routine and go out everyday, Covid restrictions permitting. I visit local toddler groups, soft play areas, Polesden Lacey, again, when restrictions allow. We go for walks in Bookham Common. I team up with many other childminders, we are all great friends and so are all the minded children.
My Experience
I have had over 36yrs experience bringing up my own children. I have also cared for children of all ages ranging from birth and really enjoy the delights and challenges childcare entails. I Do feel all children need to be praised and encouraged during there time with me. My home is well organised enabling children to have freedom of space to explore activities independently inside and out. I love my job and am very fond of the children I care for too.

Our little girl spent 2 and half years in the care of millie91 and we couldn’t have hoped for a happier and more stimulating environment for her.
From the very beginning, she was excited to go to millie91’s house everyday and we knew we were leaving her in a kind, caring and secure home environment.
The children in millie91’s care really all do become a second family and are absorbed into her own family.

Millie91 looked after my children for 6 years - she is absolutely fantastic and the children felt very much part of the family straight away. She offers a great array of home based and out and about activities. She provides really good reviews, photos and learning plans. The children loved going and really thrived in her care - she is amazing

Hi there,
Millie91 was our childminding from August 2014 to January 2018. My daughter started in her care at 9 months. We chose her for a number of reasons:
•her professionalism and the home away from home environment that she offered
•she really loved her job and she took the welfare and development of all her children very seriously
•she offered a range of activities, in and outside the home, ensuring the children got to mix with others of different ages
•she was incredibly flexible, she recognised we both worked far away from home and sometimes we have to travel for our work - sometimes late on the train, she went the extra mile to help us
•she had a network of other childminders she could call upon for help if ever there was an emergency
•her collaborative approach
•her years of experience
Through the years, we dealt with illnesses, emergencies and all of the surprises that life throws at you and she never let us down. Most of all, she really cared about our child and we still arrange to catch up for tea and walks to stay in touch. It gave us a lot of comfort to know we could safely leave our child with someone else and have the confidence that all her physical and emotional needs would be met. We were so lucky to have found Millie, it certainly made transitioning back into work a lot easier.
