My Summary

My Experience

I have a broad range of experience working with children in different settings. In the summer of 2023, I worked part-time as a nanny for a baby aged six to eight months. I have also regularly babysat on weekends for families with young children. I have worked at children’s holiday camps where I supported primary school-aged children in a variety of fun and educational activities. In addition to this, I currently work as a private science tutor for children up to GCSE age. I have also volunteered in a secondary school two days a week, supporting autistic students in the classroom and helping to create a calm, structured environment suited to their needs.

My Qualifications

I hold a degree in neuroscience from Cardiff University and have an Enhanced DBS Certificate, which is up to date and available upon request. I have received first aid training through my lifeguard certification. I have worked with a wide range of age groups, from infants to teenagers, and have experience supporting children with special educational needs, including autistic students in a secondary school setting. I currently tutor science to children up to GCSE level. I have a driving licence.

My Availability

I am available to start work from the beginning of August 2025 and am happy to work on all weekdays. I am also available to babysit on weekends if needed. My availability remains open until January 2025, when I will begin a full-time Master’s degree.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £13.50 per hour (gross)

For regular weekday nannying, my standard rate is £13.50 per hour. For evening or weekend babysitting, I charge £15 per hour. I also offer private science tutoring for children up to GCSE level at £25 per hour. Rates may vary slightly depending on hours and responsibilities, and I’m happy to discuss this with each family.
