My Experience

Hello!

I’m a mum of two with a big passion for working with children. I started babysitting when I was young, and after becoming a mum myself, I realised how much I love supporting little ones as they grow and learn. For the past two years, I’ve been a registered childminder—and I honestly love what I do!

I’m currently studying Childhood Practice at Edinburgh College and recently did a placement at South Queensferry Nursery, which gave me even more hands-on experience. I’m also part of the SCMA mentoring programme, where I’m learning from experienced childminders and building my skills every day.

I work together with my partner Claudio, who is my registered assistant. He just graduated in Tourism Management from Edinburgh Napier University, and he brings a creative, fun energy to our setting. Having him as an extra pair of eyes (and hands!) means we can give even more attention and care to the children.

We love spending time outdoors, exploring nature, and creating meaningful, playful experiences. Our little ones get plenty of fresh air, space to run around, and lots of opportunities to learn through play in a warm, welcoming environment.

My Qualifications

I also hold Public Liability Insurance and am a proud member of the Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA). All essential documentation, including qualifications, insurance, and registration certificates—are clearly displayed in my home and available for review during your visit.Also First Aid Course GIRFEC (Getting It Right for Every Child) Training,
Safeguarding Course.
I have full Disclosure Scotland background checks, and my home is registered as a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for children. My partner Claudio, is not only my assistant but also registered as a Care Assistant with PVG and First Aid.

My Availability

We work 7 am - 7pm also Saturdays for busy parents !

• Childminding from £7.00 per hour
