About Me
Hi everyone, i am currently a full time Nanny for a wonderful family of 4 + 2 doggos
We are seeking a temporary nanny to cover my holidays in November for 1 month. With the potential for future cover of my leave.
Mum & Dad both work, dad works from home in his office and is available to help if needed. Mum comes ans goes depending on the day but is out of the house all day thursdays and fridays.
The main part of the role is to support the younger child (F) who is autistic with her daily routine and personal care as required. Her older brothers schedule is largely managed by the parents.
My Requirements
Working hours 1330 to 1930 monday to friday, Saturdays 2 x per month 1000 to 1930 - ideal however flexible.
prepare evening meal, get clothes and anything else needed for the afternoon ready to go - monday tuesday & thursday she has therapy/activities
School finishes at 1515 when she is picked up and taken home or to activities.
When at home she plays independently for the most part but you do need to be close enough to hear or see her. She will come to you for help if she or if she needs anything. She is minimally verbal but is able to communicate her wants and needs using spoken language, some makaton, or bringing you to what she wants.
She is an overall happy kid, loves to be outside, on the trampoline, scooter or playing at the park. She is a sensory seeker and loves deep pressure, bouncing, spinning and movement.
She is very strong willed and knows she wants, she liked to push boundaries but once she has settled in and knows your boundaries she is largely able to work within those.
Driver license essential & car provided.
