We’re a friendly family of three, soon moving to the lovely Kirk Langley area this July. I’m a Primary Headteacher, and my husband is in the final stages of completing his medical degree. We have a lovely 5-year-old son, James, who is a real pleasure to be around. (I know all parents say that, but as someone who works with children every day, I can honestly say he’s one of the kindest, sweetest and well-loved by all).
We’re looking for a caring and reliable childminder or nanny who will become a valued part of our family life. If you think this sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you!

My Requirements
We’ve recently relocated to the area and, unfortunately, don’t yet have the “village” that many people speak of. I’ll be starting a new Headteacher role in Burton this September, and my husband is commuting to university to complete his medical degree. As you can imagine, our mornings and evenings are quite full, and that’s where we’d love some support.
We’re looking for a kind, reliable childminder or nanny to help with our lovely 5-year-old son, James. The role would involve supporting us on weekdays with school drop-offs and pick-ups in Kirk Langley. James’s school offers wraparound care from 8am to 5pm, so we can be flexible with timings, but for the right person, we’d be very happy to offer more hours for 1:1 care with James.
James is a really lovely boy, friendly, polite, and well-mannered. He enjoys baking, riding his bike, and chatting about everything and anything! We’re hoping to find someone who is caring, gentle, and dependable to become part of our support network as we settle into this new chapter.
I need to leave home by 7:20am and return around 5:45pm each day, but we won’t need help on Friday afternoons, as I’ll be doing pick-up myself. We’re open to both childminders and nannies, what works best may depend on the distance from our home to yours.
