I have extensive experience working with children of all ages, from toddlers to young teens. In previous roles, I've successfully created engaging and educational activities that cater to different developmental stages. I am currently studying adult nursing whilst also working part time in a youth club with young people aged from 2-16. Despite going into the healthcare sector, I began realising my passion for working with kids once I began volunteering at Mahdlo and realised how much I love working with kids and being apart of their journeys. I hope to be able to continue this path and see where it leads me :).
My Experience
I have volunteered at a youth centre called Mahdlo in Oldham where I worked with young people from a range of different backgrounds and needs (ages 2-16). After demonstrating strong relationships with young people, helping to create a safe and inclusive environment I got offered a paid role as an activities worker to which I continue currently as part time work during half term & summer holidays.
I have worked with different agencies that have allowed me to do invigilating in high schools and also be a cover teacher.
