I have sixteen years paid work experience working with children and young people with most recently seven years working in children's residential services working in trauma informed care. I also have many years working in a voluntary capacity working with at risk children and young people and their families.
I am also currently registered with Nissc and have been so for almost eight years and I am AccessNI certified.
My Qualifications
I hold a BSc (Hons) Community Youth Work degree Classification 2:1. I also hold a Certificate in Community Youth Work which I also obtained from the University of Ulster. I have completed a wide range of childcare training to ensure I provide safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care. My training includes first aid and CPR, child protection and safeguarding, working with challenging behaviours and learning disabilities, equipping me to respond effectively in emergencies and support children’s growth across all stages.
