About Me

I’m a friendly, responsible, and enthusiastic medical student at Imperial College London (living in Chelmsford), passionate about supporting children’s development and wellbeing. Growing up with a younger brother who has autism has given me a deep understanding of patience, empathy, and how to communicate effectively with children who have special needs. I genuinely enjoy working with young people, and I always aim to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where they feel listened to and cared for.

My Experience

I’ve tutored over 30 children aged 4 to 19 across various subjects, adapting my approach to each child’s learning style and emotional needs. This has strengthened my ability to engage children of all ages, build trust quickly, and manage different personalities and attention spans. In addition, I’ve volunteered in residential care homes, participated in youth-focused mental health research, and shadowed medical professionals in paediatric settings—experiences that have enhanced my communication skills and ability to handle sensitive situations calmly and compassionately.

• Safeguarding Adults (Level 3) – NHS Health Education England
• Basic Life Support & Emergency Care Skills – As part of my medical training
• Mental Health & Psychology Courses – Including training from Yale, King’s College London, and St George’s University
• Special Needs Insight – Personal experience supporting a sibling with autism, alongside formal study in psychology and psychiatry
