About Me

My name is Carolyn & I am a fully qualified UK maths teacher with QTS and an enhanced DBS.

My Experience

I have over 20 years teaching mathematics in UK secondary schools & Colleges. I have extensive experience teaching SEND students in both these settings & qualifications to work with a range a learning difficulties such as ASD, ADHD & dyslexia.

I also have experience & qualifications to teach adult learners (Post 16) in GCSE Resit & Adult Numeracy (Key Skills Entry, L1 & L2).

My specialty is working with Year 10, Year 11 & GCSE resit students to prepare them for mocks & exams. I have excellent results which show rapid progress above the national average.

Currently I am teaching part time Year 5 & Year 6 students (KS2) in a primary school to prepare them for the transition to high school or 11+ Grammar school entry exams.

I currently have available over summer 2025 (July & August) for 1 to 1 online lessons.

I can support high school transition to year 7, 11+ Entry Exams or preparation for GCSE Maths in year 10 & 11.

My Fees

Tutoring from £40.00 per hour

Basic rate £40 per hour
Discount for bookings of 5 sessions or more.

Group sessions (max 6 students) start from £18 per hour.
