Caring and experienced nanny with enhanced PVG available from March 2024. Based in KY11 but willing to travel within approx 30 miles radius for the right family! My most recent nanny job was caring for a girl & boy ages 3 & 4 until February 2024 when my contract came to an end. I hope to find a friendly family for a long/short term position of around 30+ hours per week, although I can be flexible. My experience includes caring for babies and pre-school age children through to early secondary age.
I’m a mum to a young adult, have a BSc (Hons) Psychology and a Certificate in Counselling Skills. I'm passionate about children's wellbeing and mental health and their social, emotional and cognitive development. I have a good understanding of child development, attachment and brain development; I’m patient, enjoy reading stories, imaginative play, outdoor adventures and encouraging creativity. I aim to build relationships with your child(ren), nurture them, promote learning through play and fun and encourage curiosity and creativity!
I don't mind tasks like preparing food and light housework if needed. I love animals too so pets are not an issue; I don't mind the odd dog walk either!
I have years of experience caring for children with additional support needs including autism, anxiety, sensory processing difficulties, developmental coordination disorder/dyspraxia, Tourette syndrome, ADHD.
