Hi,
I am an enthusiastic and experienced tutor offering one-to-one sessions in maths and English for children from Reception to Year 6.
I also prepare students for the 11+ and independent school exams and tutor maths and science for children in Year 7.
I began tutoring in 2014 and have since guided over 30 children of various ages and abilities. I understand that every child is unique and tailor my teaching to meet their individual needs.
I am a patient and positive person, and teaching is my passion. I firmly believe in the saying, "Practice makes perfect," and each session includes worksheets and homework to reinforce what the children have learned.
As a mother of two, I understand the challenges of motivating children. However, through years of experience, I have developed a teaching method that fosters self-motivation and a willingness to learn.
I look forward to guiding your children toward success.
My Experience
My first teaching experience was with my own children. Witnessing their academic success inspired me to help and guide other kids. Years of supporting my children's education gave me the confidence to teach others.
I began tutoring in October 2014, and during this time, I have gained significant experience in teaching and managing children. I have come to understand that each child is unique, with varying learning capabilities.
I tailor my teaching methods to suit each child's individual needs. I provide engaging worksheets and homework assignments to help enhance their skills in school.
I have guided many children, all of whom are now performing well in their studies.
My Qualifications
I hold a Master's degree and a teaching qualification.
My Availability
I offer one-to-one sessions on weekdays after school and on weekends, available both face-to-face and online.

- Tutoring from £15.00 per hour
Pricing for individual sessions:
- Reception to Year 6: £35 per hour for one hour weekly.
- Year 7: £40 per hour.
- 11+ Exams: £35 per hour.

My son is 4 and being doing one session a week with Rekha for around 1 month and have seen such a diffrence in him i would highly recommend also great value for money. xx

We find Rekha professional and friendly with our daughter aged 9 years old.
She has helped develop her confidence with mathematics and we will definitely keep using her services.
