My Summary
About Me
I am a single mum of 2 (aged 22 and 17) and I have been a registered childminder since 2004.I am ofsted registered and a member of NCMA and my local chidminding group. I love my job and my aim is to care for children in a warm, safe, homely enviroment and help the children learn at their own pace through everyday experiences and have lots of fun whilst doing it. We do lots of activities including baking ,cooking, drawing, painting, messy play, gluing and music. I have a wide range of toys both for inside and outside play. We also go to a local toddler group and other stay and play session as well trips to the local park and days out to farms etc.
My Experience
Professionally i have cared for children from 5 months right up to 12 years of age (as well as my own to children). The chilldren have come from varying backgrounds and have had varying abilities. I also have experience of caring for children with additional needs and autism.
My Qualifications
I am lNVQ level 3 qualified and CRB checked and first aid trained.
I also have a food hygiene certificate. I have attended lots of courses including safeguarding children, behaviour management, allergy and anaphylaxis awareness, healthy eating and inclusion.
My Availability
I currently have 1 vacany for a pre school aged child. I can accept children who are eligible for the funded 15/30 hours.
I also do drop off and pick up for St Sebastians school.
