About Me
I would describe myself as an easy going and caring person. I have worked with young people who have life limiting conditions and that is why I believe life is about having fun and ensuring that these children and young people have the same opportunities as everyone else despite their condition and I aim to make a positive change to the young people’s lives I work with.
My Experience
I have worked within the childcare sector for the past 10 years. I would say my expertise is working with children and young people with disabilities and SEN. I have previously worked as a 1:1 in a mainstream school supporting children with ASD. I have also worked as a support assistant at a school for the physically disabled and as a live in PA for a young lady with cerebral palsy. I have also worked as a Family Support Worker for parents and carers of children with disabilities also focusing on challenging behaviour.
