My Experience

Being a childminder has and still is a very rewarding job for me.....I began minding so i could be there for my son as well as earn money.....The rewards for me are priceless.....I cared for a young lad with aspergers and adhd whom had never shown his mum any emotions, after being with me for 3 months had progressed to never hugging mum to finally giving her a hug ....a very special moment which I was proud to be part of........ I have never had any training in special needs I have just used my own experience and listened to my heart how I feel the child would like to be cared for ...I found the experience eye opening and discovered that every child is unique ....I thoroughly enjoyed every moment with him....

The Children have there own playroom full of a wide variety of toys, arts & craft resources....We take walks to the park.....I have a wide range of outdoor toys including mud kitchen, wooden playhouse, pushchairs, tents etc....We attend local toddler groups, the library and soft play venues

I enjoy seeing my minded children happy and content ....

My Qualifications

I have been ofsted registered for over 28 years

I have level 3 Diploma for the children and young people’s workforce.:Early Learning and childcare pathway




I Have completed a paedicatric First Aid Course, safeguarding course,
food safety course, positive behaviour management course, child protection course, every child a talker course and will continue to attend more courses that come up .

Have been CRB checked

My Availability

I am available Monday to Friday from 7.30 to 6pm, but can be flexible .
I am flexible on occasional weekends just call me to discuss what your needs are...

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Childminding from £5.00 per hour

I charge £4.75 per hour
Unsocial hours before 7am and after 6pm are £7.50 per hour
