About Me
I am an ofsted registered childminder in the longwell green / oldland common area of bristol. I am a mother of two children a girl who is 17 and attends college and a boy 11 who attends St annes school, he is very friendly and outgoing. We also have a pug called Frank and a cat called Rafiki. I love children and enjoy watching them grow into there individual personalities. I enjoy helping children grow and being able to be a part of that. I have a fun and safe setting with a playroom for the children which incorporates role play, dressing up a baby section plus a circus tent. I have a safe enclosed garden with climbing equipment, role play house and water/sand table, also lots of ride on toys and slides.
We visit soft play, parks, nature walks and have a fun timetable full of educational activities.
My Experience
I have worked as a childminder for the past 10 & 1/2 years, before this I worked with adults and children with learning difficulties for five years. I completed my child psychology in 2008 and my cache level 3 in child care in 2012.

My daughter started with Sherrie as a baby and my son has also been to sherrie. I’ve always been so pleased with their care and am really glad I chose Sherrie to look after my children, I only stopped as I moved from the area but when I am local I still enlist Sherrie for help and she manages to fit us in! Thankyou for all your help xx

Sherrie has been my childminder for 8 months now. (My little one is now 17 months.) She is such a happy and bubbly person with so much energy. She has an active timetable for the little ones; going out to groups, the park, soft play and Horse World but also does stay at home days when little ones are feeling a little poorly or just tired. She knows how to relate, speak with and play with them. We are so pleased we found her.

Shear is a lovely women, so welcoming & great with my daughter!
My daughter is 3 & is deaf with implants to be able to hear & has some addictional needs. Shear is coping fine with this.
I'd really recommend her & say she is trust worlthy & kind.
