About Me
Hello my name is Michelle. I have been childminding since 2008 and have been in the care profession for 14 years prior to that .My home is a smoke free setting where I live with my daughter and partner .
I have two wonderfull grown up children of my own and am a very proud grandma . We have a very friendly spaniel Bobby .All adults associated with my home are dbs checked .
i am totally commited to providing a warm home from home environment for the children in my care.
I aim to make your childs experience while in my care an exciting and educational one where they are happy and content .We enjoy outdoor time each day either in my garden with a purpose built play area or attending social groups , parks and outings, we love to be creative enjoying painting , playdough ,sticking and cooking and much more.
My Experience
I have worked in the care profession since 1991 with both the elderly and children to management level. I have been a registred Childminder since 2008, and it is a job i love and take great pride in . My last Ofsted inspection was in January 2020 when I was awarded Outstanding for the second time .
My Qualifications
Training and professional development is ongoing but some of the core and mandatory qualifications are included below
Level 3 diploma in Early Years and Young Peoples Workforce
NVQ Level 2 in Direct Care

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Hourly Rate From £6.00 per hour
I can accept government funded subsidised childcare subject to eligibility.
From 9months to school age
Childcare vouchers accepted
Tax free childcare accepted
Home Cooked meals and snacks can be provided at extra cost.
Rates do include local outings , unlimited drinks ( water ) and your childs free entitlement to 1/3 pint milk daily , all art and craft / baking activity materials . Weekly toddler group .
A small charge may be required for larger events .

Michelle has been our childminder for the past three years for our two daughters who she has cared for from an early age (9 Months old).
From first meeting Michelle we knew we wanted our children to be in her care, she exceeded our expectations with our first daughter and we had no hesitation in sending our second.
Michelle provides an environment that surpasses what you would expect from a childminder. The setting is both welcoming, educational and relaxed.
Michelle follows the early year foundation criteria thoroughly by organising a range of themed activities which are inspiring and promoted both our daughters' learning experience.
We have been delighted with the progress of our children throughout their time with Michelle and have no hesitation in recommending Michelle as a carer.
