My Experience

In the 24 years experience of early years education, I made a change in my career and left nursery management in 2003 to go into training early years professionals. This decision was influenced by the lack of staff with the correct skills and qualities that I was asked to employ.

I have worked as an early years professional as well as an early years Lecturer\Trainer. I have experience of working which children from 0-18 years of age. I am willing to work with children of all ages. I am qualified with my Post Graduate Certificate in Education which qualifies me to teach in nurseries as well as in Further Education\Higher Education.

Personal Skills and Interests

Highly skilled professional who is qualified to care for people from cradle to grave. Very kind, caring and family orientated. I am a people person with excellent empathetic skills and interpersonal skills. I was the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) within educational settings.

Have worked with multiple births and with children with additional needs.

Enjoy the outdoors and Forest school philosophy and am working towards my Forest School Practitioner Level 3 qualification. Enjoy swimming and have advanced qualifications which allow me to Scuba dive to 30 meters. Have taught children in my care to swim in the past.

Have vast experience in setting up and establishing routines with babies as used to work in a baby room registered for 21 babies and then went on to run 20 place 12-18 months room. Have practical experience with working with children 0-18 years and extensive knowledge of the EYFS. Can provide a wide range of stimulating activities and experiences to suit the ages and stages of any child development. I am able to work as sole charge or shared care.

Able to cook a wide range of nutritionally healthy food for all age ranges which included cooking and freezing down first food for weaning.

I am also a fully trained Breastfeeding Peer Supporter and qualified Hypnobirthing Instructor.

My Availability

No regular availability but can do emergency care on a Monday or Friday and evening babysitting. .

Can work upto 20 miles from Crayford or Gravesend

I also work for the Open University some Saturdays and 6 hours a week in total. Mainly tutorials over phone and Internet in the evenings.



I can provide proxi parenting bookings and can also do overnight bookings.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £13.66 per hour (gross)

No longer OFSTED Registered but could become registered again but fee falls down to parent as it don't get anything for being registered .

Employed nanny rate please enquire. I only nanny under an employed contract. My past 4 employers have paid well as they have wanted my elite skill and qualities.

Emergency Day time care. £10-15 per hour dependant on needs of the children.

Babysitting Monday- Thursday evenings 10per hour. Friday-Sunday £12 per hour. Booking before 6pm will be at a higher charge as there will be elements of day-care involved. These prices are for one family bookings. Multiple families there will be additional charges. I have baby sat up to 10 children at one time in the past.

Night Nanny please enquire as fees are negotiable

Prices can be agreed as each family is an individual but if you want the best look no further. I am Insured for 5,000,000 public liability not all babysitters are.


If a sleeping night role the rate will be less than a awaking night. If a sleeping night I am woken more than twice this will then become a awake night common with Additional\Special needs booking for rest bite care.
