My Experience

I have been mainly nannying over the last 5 years as well as occasional work in a preschool and childminder setting. My nannying positions have included caring for babies from newborn up to 5 years (and above), looking after multiple children at once, supporting new parents and families, either on a part time or full time basis. I also studied a course in maternity nannying to support a role with a new mum and baby.

Prior to nannying, my role was in a nursery setting as a Deputy Manager of a 80 place private day nursery with children aged three months to five years. This role enabled me to show my ability to be responsible and strengthened my management skills. I worked for a very successful nursery chain and was in the company for over 8 years. I worked in several of their nurseries using opportunities to progress in my career through the different roles of unqualified nursery assistant, nursery nurse, room leader and third in charge before becoming deputy and very often managing the nursery on my own on a daily basis. I gained experience in the baby room all the way up to the Preschool room, with children ages 3 months to 5 years as well as managing teams, being designated safeguarding lead and supporting children with SEN.

I have lots of other previous experience working with children, including working in a creche, placements in preschools and have done plenty of other nannying/babysitting in the past.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 3 Qualification (1 year Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Workforce) and a Level 4 & 5 Qualification (2 year Foundation Degree in Early Years - Management and Leadership). I have studied a course in Maternity Nursing, completed numerous Pediatric First-Aid training and hold a full DBS check. I can register with Ofsted if required.

My Availability

I am currently employed part time but may be available on an adhoc/weekly basis around my permanent role and own childcare needs.
(Also may be available for occasional overnight and weekends but to be discussed further).

My Fees

• Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

Min. 16ph

Can be negotiable/ dependant on hours and job spec etc
