About Me
Hello,
My name is Amanda Goldfinch and I have been a Childminder since July 2003. I have been an Accredited childminder since July 2011. I am able to offer 15 or 30 hrs per week free entitlement funding for 2, 3 and 4 yr olds, so you can choose whether to send your child to nursery or not. I am a member of the NCMA . I live with my husband and one son aged 21. We have a 2 dogs and 2 cats, all very child friendly. I only pick up from fynamore school. Please feel free to contact me, if I may be able to help you.
My Experience
The whole of the downstairs of my house is dedicated to childminding. Children are free to move from room to room to access the large range of toys and activities I provide . I have a secure enclosed back garden and access to the local park. I have experience of looking after children from 3 months to 12 years old as a Childminder and obviously my own children. I follow the EYFS curriculum and all under 5`s have their own learning journey which shows how they are developing, the steps they are achieving, photos of what we have been doing, learning activities through play and pictures and paintings. We tend to go out in the mornings, soft play, toddler groups, garden centers, friends, houses, to the park , music lessons and stay in in the afternoons. We do lots of playing, colouring, craft, singing, role play and having lots of fun. All children are individuals and as a Childminder, the safety, welfare and happiness of your child is paramount in my setting.

ICP -Cache level 3 certificate in childminding practice
First aid in early years - renewed every 3 years
EYFS - early years foundation scheme
Intermediate food hygiene - renewed every 3 years
Level 2 Health and safety - renewed every 3 years
Healthy eating
Level 2 Child protection - renewed every 3 years
Anti-bullying
Multicultural play
Including children with autism workshop
Level 3 NVQ in Childrens care learning and development
Continuous professional development in partnership with Wiltshire council
Certificate in Early years practice
I have a Foundation Degree in Early Years Childcare through the open university.
