My Experience

I enjoy looking after children and working with parents to achieve a reassuring childminding and friendly environment. I feel that childminding is very rewarding, especially when the children show a sense of comfort, security, are happy and enjoy having fun. My childminding experience started in 2007.

I have childminded children of various ages, earliest age being 6 months old. I childmind pre-school, foundation age children and 8 years and over.
During these years i have received positive inspections and adhere to legistlation and minimum standards for wales. I do provide parents with all relevant policies and procedures to ensure the best quality childcare and promoting the safeguarding, child protection, of children and young people.

The Welfare of children is paramount.

My Qualifications

I hold a basic first-aid certificate, level 2 food hygiene certificate and Introduction to Childminding Certificate. I hold an NCMA Quality Assured Certificate and I hold an NVQ level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development. I have recently completed the PACEY (formally known as NCMA) online training for Speech, Language and Communication and an introduction to autism awareness. A level 3 in child protection/safeguarding awareness of children and young people. A brief online course for Schemas, an online brief course into ‘look, say, sing, play’ for babies.

My Availability

I am currently full but I am always happy to answer messages and consider my waiting list. My hours of work start from 7:45am to 5:30pm.

I can childmind long term and i can childmind on a short term basis as well with a short term contract to cover up to 28 days of childcare.

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.00 per hour

I charge £5.00 per hour and £1.50 per day on meals if you require me to provide meals, or parents can provide their choice of food. Should parents choose to provide their own food please provide original packing/wrap so i can list allergens.

I don't charge parents if I am away on holiday, but do charge if parents are on holiday, or if child is absent or sick .

I provide after school care which covers pick up from Bishops Child C/W Primary School and cover 3.30pm until 5:30pm and i provide snacks, drink, crafts, garden activities. after school charge of £7.00 Can pick up from willowbrook morning nursery 11.30am.
