My name is Philippa and I'm 32 years old. I have been working in childcare for 14 years. I've been a nanny now for almost 12 years and currently work for one family, 3 days a week.
I enjoy being out and about, arts & crafts, reading, cooking and spending time with family & friends.
My Experience
I completed the NVQ Level 3 in Childcare & Education course at Newbury College. I did several placements during that time.
After qualifying i went on to work in a private nursery in the toddler room, I worked there for 2 and a half years. It was very fulfilling, i was sad to leave but i wanted to move on to something new to extend my experience.
I've been a nanny now for over 12 years. I currently work 3 days a week for one family with children aged 3 and 6 years. I've been with the family since January 2019.
Before this I worked with 3 other families.
2 children aged 2 & 3 years when starting (Sept 2012 - Dec 2021)
3 children aged 1, 4 & 5 years when starting (Sept 2014 - June 2017)
2 children aged 1 & 4 years when starting (June 2017- Jan 2019)
I also do occasional babysitting for my nanny families and friends.
My Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
- Paediatric First aid (Valid till August 2024)
My Availability
Ideally looking for 1 day but would consider 2 days from September. Ideally Mondays / Fridays but may have some flexibility with this.
