About Me
Hello parents my name is Nicola Deacon and I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for over 20 years. I provide a safe home from home environment for your little ones to learn and develop through play. My last inspection I received a good Ofsted report in all areas. I understand the need to be flexible & accommodating.

My Experience
I have worked as an ofsted registered childminder for 20 years. I attend a lot of the courses offered by the London Borough of Hillingdon
In my setting we love to do lots of activities, painting, sticking, colouring, building, Singing, dancing & free play.
We like to attend toddler groups & soft play.
We visit the local parks or go on woodland walks collecting leaves, twigs, acorns ect….
We visit the local library weekly so we always have new books to read!
My Qualifications
I am an ofsted registared childminder with the London borough of hillingdon.
I have an NVQ in play.
I have completed a peadiatric 1st aid course.
I have a Safe guarding children cerificate.
I have completed a sign along course.
I have completed the one step at a time workshop.
My Availability
I have vacancies in my setting Monday to Thursday.

Nicola has been childminding my son for over 18 months. I am extremely happy with the care he has received, and the great progress he’s made since spending time with her and the other children in her care. Her home is always welcoming, and he has great fun playing with all the toys available. She provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise.
Nicola has a really lovely manner. She is always kind, calm and patient with them, and all the children are happy and well behaved and know what’s expected of them.
Nicola sends me pictures, and tells me what he’s been up to each day, so that I feel involved with his care. I’ve always felt very comfortable asking her questions or seeking advice. I feel my son is treated as part of her family and this is very important to me.
