About Me
I am a very experienced Quality Assured Ofsted Registered Childminder - always rated Good or Outstanding in all areas and I live in a house very close to Brent Cross, which is great for local transport links (North Circular, M1 & A1).
I have a large garden and very well equipped bright playroom. I have 3 children - 22 year old girl, 20 year old boy and a 14 year old girl. I attend different playgroups each week which gives children lots of opportunities to mix with many other children and increase their social skills. I also regularly enjoy visiting other places of interest - park, farms, museums, seaside etc. I also arrange lots of fun activities for the children and I aim to make sure that each child that I care for has a great experience every day. I have an excellent Ofsted report and lots of references from extremely satisfied parents. I complete daily diaries for the children in my care and also record and plan for children's progress as part of the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stage, this involves observing children and planning activities that the children have an interest in and also that will move them on developmentally. I produce wonderful Learning Journeys (record of progress) that are an amazing keepsake for children as they grow.
My Experience
I have been a Registered Childminder for 22 years and love my job. Prior to this I was a Trainer for a large Company. I absolutely love spending time with the children and watching them grow from small babies into independent children.
My Qualifications
I am a Quality Assured Childminder offering a high standard of care and have completed my Level 3 Children's Care, Learning & Development, Level 4 in Children's Psychology ICP course, First Aid, Child Protection, Safeguarding and many more. Being part of the Child Minding Network also enables me to access a large amount of additional training should I feel the need.
One of the aims of the Network is to provide a higher level of care for the children than is expected by Ofsted. I am monitored and inspected on a regular basis and this is added reassurance that the care that I give to my children is of the highest quality.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday - 8.00am - 5.30pm for childminding and in the evenings for babysitting.
