My Summary
About Me
My name is Kate I work with my mum Ali.
Together we offer a fun, loving, energetic, caring and creative place for your child. We want your child to feel very safe, happy and at home with us.
We work to the EYFS and track your child's progress the same way a nursery would.
We do this through wonderful creative and educational things everyday, indoors and outdoors. We are just off Northfield avenue, close to parks, buses, and tubes. In our home we have a large range of books, arts and crafts, natural resources, musical instruments and indoor and outdoor toys. We have a paved, private, safe garden where we do gardening with the children and have a large range of garden toys and equiptment to enjoy in all weathers, including a lovely wooden playhouse.
We are very family orientated and want your child to feel happy, safe and loved in our care.
We both like cooking fresh healthy meals and we do lots of baking and cooking with the children. We take the children out. Some of the places we go to are, baby/toddler groups, different parks, Kew Gardens, soft play areas, Hounslow urban farm, and libraries.
We also have structured play at home such as singing, playing instruments, yoga/stretching, reading, puppet shows, arts and crafts, flash cards ,puzzles and gardening. We like to teach the children by active learning in and out of the house.
We have had 3 Ofsted inspections all of which went very well . You can look up our ofsted inspection reports
"The childminder and her co-childminder provide a warm and welcoming home. The childminders in-depth knowledge of children's individual needs and interests creates a highly inclusive environment where children make good progress in their learning and development. The childminder provides a wide range of resources that cover most aspects of children's learning. Partnerships with parents are highly valued and help the childminder meet children's individual needs successfully"
If you want your child to have one to one care and attention but also have a lovely group of other children to play with daily, the option of two childminders would be great for you!
We both drive and have our own cars which have business insurance.
I am 37 and have 12 years childminding experience and 5.5 years as a nanny, I've looked after children from newborn - 13 years and I also have 1 years pediatric nurse training. I am also mum to two little boys aged 10 years and 6 years.
My mum Alison has over 40 years childcare experience as a mum, nan, nanny, childminder and also in a nursery.
We both are trustworthy, reliable, happy and easy going people that genuinely love the job we do.
We have lived in Ealing for 35+ years so know all sorts of different activities for babies and children of all ages in and around the Ealing area.
Please email us with any questions at all. We can provide excellent references!

Kate and Ali are excellent childminders - I can't recommend them highly enough. I wanted my son to be in a home from home environment whilst I was at work, and that is exactly what they provide. Actually, if I'm honest, it is better than at home because they manage to get him to eat vegetables and put himself down for a nap!
They offer a structured day with plenty of activities (kids groups, swimming, soft play centres), nutritious home cooked meals and cuddles. I love reading my son's daily diary which tells me what he's been up to, what he particularly enjoyed doing, and what he ate. Kate also texts me at lunchtime to let me know how their morning went.
I have utter trust in them and feel very lucky to have found them.
