About Me
I have over 20 years experience working with babies and children in a variety of settings. I have three children of my own aged 6, 11 & 13 years.
I work as a maternity nurse and temporary or part time nanny. I have extensive newborn experience. I have a Diploma in Child Care & Education, baby massage, breastfeeding support and neonatal training.
I will provide a nurturing environment for your child to learn, play and develop at their own rate. I enjoy planning a range of activities and experiences to support all areas of development. I like to cook, and will prepare fresh, healthy meals and snacks for your child.
My Experience
I have just finished a midwifery degree and am looking for work over the summer before I start work as a midwife in October.
I worked on the postnatal ward of the Whittington Hospital as a Maternity Nursery Nurse for four years, working with newborn babies and their Mothers.
Prior to this I was Early Years Co-ordinator for a Sure Start project before taking time out to have my first two children.
I have lots of experience offering breastfeeding support, and also assisting Mum's with weaning and sleeping issues.
I have worked as a private maternity nurse and part time nanny for the past four years. I have supported many families with their babies, including establishing a routine and solving feeding and sleep issues.
