Graded 'outstanding' . I live in the Harestock area, my name is Stephanie and I am 44 old. I am married with 2 fantastic happy natured children, my youngest is 9 and is in year 5 and my daughter is 11 years old who is in year 7 . I have been childminding for 9 years and work Term time only. My aim is that I can bring my childcare experiences and knowledge to benifit other children other than my own.We have been living in Winchester, for 13 years and love exploring the outdoors, exploring different activities and having fun. Our home is very welcoming and we have a fantastic spacious playroom that is full of wonderful opportunities along with a child friendly garden.
Our home is a non smoking home, we have a beautifully natured cockapoo, called Cosmo . I also hold a clean driving license.
My Experience
I have been qualified within the child are field for 19 years ! Although feel like it was yesterday that I qualified,having worked in day nurseries and having been a Nursery Manager for the last 9 have vast passinate knowledge of children,ensuring that they have opportunities to be themselves ,thrive to their abilities, feel safe,secure and grow into well adapted children.
As a parent myself I have grown in empathy and completely understand the need for a parent to be happy to allow their child to be happy.
Having written information guidance on the Early Years Foundation Stage have great knowledge on a child's individual interest allowing them to gain knowledge and supporting them to meet age appropriate milestones.

I cannot thank Stephanie enough for being my daughter's childminder since we moved back to Winchester. Not only did Stephanies amazing way with children allow Evie to really come out of herself, she taught me so much as a newly single mother as well. I could go to work knowing Evie was in safe hands, progressing and developing amazingly as well as a great supportive lady for me as well. Stephanie always makes sure there are photos and up to date information about the children so we all know how they have been getting on. I am very lucky to have had this lady as support over this time and anyone who manages to get a space for their child here is extremely lucky!! The house is like a home for any child, with welcoming open arms, including Stephanies impeccably behaved children who are fantastic with all the youngsters. Fantastic meals and lots of exciting days out, these little ones never get bored that's for sure!

I cannot recommend Stephanie highly enough. My son has been going to her since he was 1 and has been happy from day 1. I leave him knowing that he really is one of the family all day long, and he definitely sees himself as that! When I tell him he is going to play with Stephanie's children he races me to the front door in the morning!
Stephanie is thoroughly professional and very knowledgable about children of all stages of the early years foundation. I am kept frequently updated on his activities and development with a daily record book as well as his own development diary citing key milestones in his EYFS programme. She seems to have limitless energy and enthusiasm for new play ideas and messy play. Her home is well set up for childminding and my son has a wonderful time playing in the garden and with the toys.
I genuinely couldn't have hoped for anything better with my childcare arrangements and have no doubts that my son is in the best possible care.

I can't recommend Stephanie enough! She looked after both of my children over the course of about 18 months. Stephanie makes you feel like part of her family. I could drop off my kids knowing they were in safe hands and would have a great day full of fun and adventure. Stephanie is a professional and lovingly created a book for each of my children which documented the progress they had made in line with the EYFS framework. She has a lovely home environment with a play room, garden and a host of toys and craft materials.
Stephanie is a happy, positive person who is easy to talk to. My kids had such a great time with Stephanie that they were disappointed on the days they were not with her. We feel privileged to of had Stephanie look after our children and impact their and our lives in such a positive way. The rest of Stephanie's family are fantastic too.

Stephanie has been caring for my nearly 3 year old since he was 10 months old. She also looks after my 5 year old in the school holidays. Stephanie's approach with children is warm and relaxed, but very much in control. I have always felt incredibly confident leaving my children with her. Stephanie is very professional, an excellent communicator and I always know where I am with her. My children absolutely love Stephanie, she is brilliant with them and they feel like part of the family. It is clear that Stephanie genuinely loves children, she loves working with them, playing with them, teaching them and supporting them to develop and grow. She takes the EYFS very seriously and is always finding new and imaginative ways to support children's learning. My children have gained so much from being in her care. I can't recommend Stephanie highly enough, you couldn't find a more caring, capable and genuine childminder.
