About Me
My name is Maxine I have lived in Farnworth Bolton all my life and know the local area well.
I am working alongside Beth who started off as an apprentice but has now qualified to become her own registered child minder.
I have always loved being around children and after managing a local business for 10 years I thought it was time for a change of career and undertook all the relevant training to become an ofstead registered childminder.
Outside of work I am involved in lots of family activities particularly events with the children and school, football, trips, clubs. As a family we enjoy outdoor activities, barbecues in summer, walking round local beauty spots,
and driving round the lakes.
My Experience
I have over 20 years experience working with children and more recently as an ofstead registered childminder. My team and I currently look after 7 children whos ages range from 1 years to 8 years and includes before and after school care.
I take the children to playgroup/childrens centres in the mornings so that they can have fun with other children and develop their social and learning skills. We have lots of outside play room with, trampoline, swings, sandpit, slide and waterplay.
Indoors we have learning time with reading, educational toys to help develop motor skills, individual and group learning time as well as play with finger and face painting, drawing, games craftmaking and music time.
My household is a happy and fun environment alowing the children to grown and develop in a safe and clean household.
My Qualifications
I have completed the childminders pre registration course.
I have paediatric first aid.
I have NVQ level 3 in childcare.
My Availability
I am available Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm all year round (except bank holidays)
I offer parents a flexible approach to childcare and can fit around shift patterns and unusual hours (please enquire)
I can also cater for special dietary requirements.
Breakfast and Lunch can be provided for full time children, lunch for morning children and snacks and drinks for other children.
