About Me
Hello, my name is Katie, I'm a mother to two boys, In a small village called Blackford.
I have an SVQ level 3 qualification in children's, learning and development. I am a registered childminder.
With over 14 years experience working in childcare. I am proud to be able to offer a warm welcoming home learning environment for all ages. I pride myself in my creative skills, including lots of arts and crafts activities, sensory and messy play activities. I have a large enclosed back garden which includes swings, tree house, mud kitchen, slides, sandpit and lots of endless open learning opportunities. We spend alot of time outdoors and enjoy exploring our local environment.
I offer care from 8am to 5:30pm for children ages 0-12 years. School drop off and pick up is for Blackford Primary only.
My Experience
Over the past fourteen years I have worked in many different childcare settings, including nurseries, creches, holiday clubs (abroad), playgroups and a live in nanny. I also ran a sensory and messy play business.
My Qualifications
I have an SVQ level three qualification in children's care learning and development.
