Hi, my name is Felicity Young and i am 41 years old and a mum of three. I am a Ofsted Registered Childminder. I have over 23 years childcare experience.
I have three children, my son is 16 and is in year 11 at Charles Darwin school, my daughter is 14 and in year 9 at Charles Darwin school and my youngest daughter is 10 years old and is in year 6 at Warren road school. I am married and have been with my husband for 24 years and married for 17 years. We are a very welcoming and sociable family, and enjoy doing lots of various activities.
We enjoy going to toddler groups, art group, to the park, to High Elms, to Christmas Tree Farm, to museums, to the seaside, to the library, swimming and many more places.
At our home we have a wide range of toys and activities available for all different age ranges and abilities. We do a lot of art and craft in our house! We do painting, sticking, colouring, playdough and drawing. We also like to bake cakes and biscuits, play in the garden, playing with cars and make lots of train tracks!
I have a very safe and clean house for children and a lovely garden for children to play in. We have a very friendly cat called Gizmo and a dog called Rex.
I cook fresh meals for the children everyday and included in my prices are breakfast, lunch, dinner and healthy snacks in between.
I do school drop offs and pick ups from Warren Road School.
My Experience
I have worked with children for over 25 years. I worked in a day nursery for three years and Then I was a nanny for nine years. I have been working as a childminder for 13years now and I currently look after 3 little girls and 2 little boys, who do different days and times so they are not all here together!
I have worked with children from 0-11 years old and i love working with children and the best job is being a mum.
I do have references from the families i have worked and would be happy to show them to you. I still see the families and children often.
My Qualifications
I have a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies which i studied for two years at College for. I have completed and passed the ICP course needed to becomer a childminder. I also have a Peadiatric First Aid Certificate. Both me and my husband have been CRB checked.
I have a clean driving license and valid insurance.
My Availability
I am available to work Monday to Fridays. My hours are 7.30-6.30pm but these can be flexible depending on your needs.
I am available to work all day, half days, just school drop offs and pick ups, just get in touch and we can discuss your needs.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
My fees are:
£7.00per hour for full day
£5.00 per hour for school runs
£7.50 per hour for half days(5 hours)
