My Experience

I Have been working with children for 20 years now I have new Born experience up to the ages of 11 years. I have worked in Nurseries caring for babies from 3 months to 4 years total of 7 year’s experience,I have done lots of babysitting to. I'm now working for myself as a self employed Nanny, I have looked after 2 beautiful babies not twins but very close in age , I had full responsibity for these babies I loved every minute of it. this was short term due to the family traveling .i worked for another lovely family for 7 months the children were 4 and 2 years due to then having a family member moving near by they no longer needed a nanny. I moved on caring for two children aged 8 and 9 years this was a part time position who I worked for almost a year. I’ve cared for a 6 year old and worked for this family for 4.5 years where I built amazing relationships with the parents and child This child had type 1 Diabetes which every day I did her injections and provided her with the special dietary needs .I’ve worked a lot of ad hoc hours over the years for families including working for a nanny agency, last year 2022 I worked for a family for a year caring for their baby from 5 weeks old I was there almost a year and am still working ad hoc for them now the child is nearly two now , I’ve also worked ad hoc hours caring for a baby with cerebral palsy and a 7 year old who’s Autistic this is also ad hoc hours . I really love working along side families and giving the children I look after all my attention and building good relationship’s with both parents and children. I enjoy planning out each day with all the exciting activities we do and getting to know all their little personalities , I have a lot of respect for individual families and have very good understanding that we are all different ,I respect parents , rules and follow routines for their children , I'm very good at adapting to how you want me to be with your children. I love my job and can honestly say I have enjoyed every minute of it and have learnt so much about children. Watching them grow and their little minds develop is so rewarding to me. • Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
