About Me
I have experience working with children of all abilities. I have acquired various teaching strategies over the years which has increased my ability to help children achieve.
I teach children from 3 years old up to 11 years old. For students with autism/sen, I am prepared to begin tutoring at a younger age as I believe early intervention is essential. The upper age limit is also extended.
My Experience
I am a Special Needs Tutor currently working with children with autism, special educational needs or mild learning difficulties and their families (Diamonds in the Rough CIC). Autism is my specialist area of work and I have both professional and personal experience in this area, especially in regards to education, SEN regulations and barriers to education and service accessibility. I am Ofsted registered and our education centre provides alternative provision(weekdays) for students who are homeschooled or as part of an eotas package.
My Qualifications
BA (Hons) Childhood, Culture and Education.
Currently completing Postgraduate Diploma Special Educational Needs and Inclusion.
CACHE Diploma Child, Care and Education.
CPCAB Certificate in Counselling Skills.
