About Me
My name is Sharon Dyer and I am a level 3 Ofsted registered childminder I have been graded in my last 4 inspections by Ofsted Outstanding, the last inspection was November 2021.
I live with my family, my husband and my 2 children in the Warfield area. I left school and went straight to college where I trained for the N.N.E.B, and from there I have been in childcare as a nanny and then into childminding. I have over 30 Years of experience in childcare for children of various ages .
As a parent myself I can fully appreciate how important your child is to you and how critical it is for you to find the right childcare for your child. I offer a fully equipped,smoke and pet free family home environment, with a dedicated playroom area. I feel it is important to work along side and closely with the parents so I can offer continuity of care to your child. I take immense pleasure to help the children in my care to learn and develop to their full potential. I provide lots of opportunities in my setting for your child to develop on their learning journey and achieve their developmental goals. Each child in my setting is treated as an individual, but are all given the same amount of attention, care and love. I plan for each child individually according to suit their age and ability.
We do lots of different activities such as visiting parks, farms etc and I also attend wkly a music class, which all the children love. I plan art and craft activities, we also do lots of baking and I provide opportunities for the children to have time for free play where they can choose activities whilst they are learning through play.
I am a member of PACEY and fully insured, and I have all my required training including first aid, and have a level 3 in safeguarding. I have attended many courses to give me lots of new ideas to help your child to develop. I have completed my level 3 diploma in childcare (CYPW), which has given me so many ideas in which I can improve my setting for the benefit of the children in my care and also their families.
I have some lovely references from past and present parents who have all been very happy with the care I have given their children.
