About Me
My name is Jenni and I am an Ofsted
Registered Childminder.
Our setting provides a happy and
inspirational space for children to socialise, play
and learn. Within a relaxed environment children
benefit from a structured routine, real life
experience learning and valuable social skills
reinforced by learning alongside their friends.
I work in line with the Early Years Foundation
Stage (EYFS) Framework.
Through carefully planned activities children are
encouraged to extend their learning and
development and broaden their senses of
investigation, curiosity and wonder.
The children are cared for in a safe home-away-
from-home environment by a childcare
professional who can support and nurture their
needs as they grow.
My Experience
I became an Early Years Childcare
Practitioner after completing my degree at
Kent University.
I have been childminding for 15 years.
I specialise in the Early Years and only care
for children from 3 months - 5 years old.
I am a qualified Forest School leader and I
have been graded “outstanding” by Ofsted.
I have supported children with minor to
severe SEN with handwriting lessons,
hydrotherapy sessions and sensory room
design during my time in Children’s
Occupational Therapy.

I'm not sure there is a big enough character allowance to say all I could about Jenni and her childcare. I put my first born Son in her care at 8 months. I think we can all agree it is terrifying, upsetting and a huge adjustment to have to leave your child somewhere, you're not, for the first time. However I somehow managed to find the gem that is Jenni (Jen Jen as my son now calls her) and my son was instantly embraced in this magical, loving, fun, caring and homely setting, and I honestly couldn't have dreamt for better for him to have, for the first years of his life. In turn I was reassured, updated and felt the weight fall from my shoulders so quick after he started, knowing he was in great hands and happy.
Everyday Jax and I are greeted by the gorgeous, happy Wrens jumping around to welcome him in and he walks on in excited for his day. Every day is a different adventure which is captured on a special page for the parents, to view what antics their kids are getting up to. They go on walks, to play clubs, the beach, castles, lakes, parks and lots of other wonderful places to explore. She makes lovely healthy lunches, always watching to make sure the kids try new things and making note of what they do and don't like. When Jax has had an off day she has always been sure to comfort him and give him all he needs to make him feel safe, comfortable and happy, while I'm not there to do it.
Jenni really brings out the best in all her wrens and my boy has absolutely thrived in her care. She is magic and so so kind, caring and fun. I honestly believe she is THE best around, we're so lucky to have found her. Thank you so much for everything Jenni, we love you to the moon! 😊

Our Daughter has been with Jenni for just over a year now attending 2/3 days a week. She settled in with Jenni incredibly well and found the home from home setting a real comfort. I was very nervous about leaving her as due to Covid restrictions she had actually never been with anyone else other than ourselves! Jenni helped us feel confident that our daughter was having a fab time by updating us very regularly with messages and pictures of her adventures.
The children are always happy and spend lots of time outside in the local area and have even taken trips to the North Downs and the beach! My daughter has made some great little friends who she loves telling me all about at the end of her day.
Jenni is highly professional and knows her stuff, she has helped us with a few tricky times over the last year, her knowledge and care for the children in her charge is exceptional. She clearly takes wonderful care of the children and has their interests and development at the heart of all she does.
I have already recommended a couple of friends Jenni’s way as I wouldn’t want my child anywhere else. I’m glad we have a few more years of adventures to come!

My daughter Penny spent just under a year at JenniWren's. Unfortunately, my job necessitated a move and the most difficult part has been finding another childminder who comes anyway close to the standard of care provided by JenniWren's.
Jenni was recommended to me by a friend whose daughter spent a number of years with JenniWrens. From our first meeting, I was confident that Jenni was the right person to look after Penny when I went back to work. It was obvious at drop-offs and pick-ups that Penny enjoyed her days at JenniWrens; even when there was the odd tear, Penny quickly settled with Jenni or Harmony.
Activities are tailored to the children, and they spent lots of time in the garden. Penny very much enjoyed day trips to places like Leeds Castle and the zoo as well as local toddler groups.
JenniWrens provides a good range of home-cooked meals and snacks, with an emphasis on healthy options.
Jenni and her assistants are professional in their approach, the setting is very well organised and the daily diaries keep parents up-to-date with activities, development and photos.
Overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending JenniWrens and was only sorry that we had to move on.

My Daughter started with Jenni back in November 2011 and was with Jenni for 4 years. I worked full time so was in from 0730-1700 mon-fri.
I was quite uneasy about the whole childminder scene at the start, however after trailing sites for days I eventually came across Jenni. I read though her reviews, which were all brilliant and eventually contacted her directly…and lets say the rest was history!! ?
My daughter Faith started when she was 3 years old, and left when she had just turned 7. (Due to posting with work) Jenni had just stared her business when I first met her and I’ve never known any one be so thorough with policies, procedures, welfare, knowledge, and the developing each individual child, after her first Ofstead inspection Jenni was awarded OUTSTANDING!! – Now that says something for your first ever inspection!!
Jenni always goes the extra mile for each individual child and Faith came on so much while she was under jenni’s care not only before she even started school but would do learning after school (in a fun way) Faith really did come on leaps and bounds!!!
I never had to worry when I was at work, as I knew Faith was in the safest hands possible, Jenni looks after the children as if they are her own!! ? If there was any problems, illness, occasional bumps (even in school) Jenni would inform me as soon as it had happened or she was made aware (from school) Communication was great, I would receive updates on how their days were going if they were out and about and the occasional picture of their adventures!!
Jenni bar far is one of the most AMAZING Childminer’s there is out there by far and a real credit to the families of the children she looks after!! The day we left was a really emotional day for everyone, my daughter was absolutely heartbroken. Jenni really is the best in what she does and I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND her to anyone that chose’s Jenniwren’s for their children, I can’t recommend her enough!!! ? JenniWrens childcare is a wonderful setting, our little boy has been with Jenni for 18 months now, and he absolutely loves it! The children are always engaged in age appropriate activities and every child is loved and extremely well cared for. Our little boy comes home happy (and worn out!) after spending a day at JenniWrens.
Jenni is professional and along with her 2 assistants provides a very reassuring service and we would recommend the setting to other parents without a doubt! Sign up quickly because places are snapped up fast....

Our daughter is so happy at Jenni's - she enjoys all the activities they do and is thriving there. We couldn't be happier with the care she receives and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Jenni and her two assistants look after my two year old and nine month old and they offer fantastic care. The children are always happy and fully entertained and it's a real pleasure to have found such an excellent team.
