About Me
I am an ofsted registered childminder in Chellaston, Derby. I was graded good at my most recent inspection August 2023. I follow the EYFS and plan activities accordingly. I visit local playgroups, soft play and the library. I take the children swimming and organise trips to farms and zoos and the local fire station. I collect from Chellaston infants and juniors.
My Experience
I am NNEB qualified (NVQ level 3) and have over 30 years experience of working with children in a variety of settings. I was a live in nanny for 3 years then worked in private day nurseries for 12 years. I have been a childminder since 2003.
I provide a small friendly home from home setting with a large outdoor space. Children are encouraged to free flow between indoor and outdoor activities providing learning opportunities in all areas of development. I am registered with the governments tax free childcare scheme and am also able to provide places for funded 2,3 and 4 year olds. I offer term time only contracts as well as school holiday care.
My Qualifications
I am NNEB qualified. I have an up to date first aid certificate and also certificates in food hygiene and health and safety.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.25 per hour
I charge £5.25 per hour and £50 for a full day.
I charge £11.50 before school care and £11.50 for after school care.
Meals are charged separately as follows £1.50 breakfast, £2.00 lunch and £2.50 cooked evening meal. Alternatively you can provide your own meals and snacks.
