I’m looking to find someone or a setting that is able to support my niece who has been diagnosed with MDS
My Requirements
My neice is 2yrs and 8 months old. She was diagnosed with Miller Dieker Syndrome before she was born. My SIL is struggling with balancing work and being a mum but also finding a setting where she feels my niece is going to be well cared for. Is there anyone from a medical background or someone that can offer support/or a setting that is able to accommodate her needs?
As mentioned, my niece has MDS. She has a peg for feeding, she’s unable to sit up/support her head etc and unable to walk.
