When I look after children I aim to be a fun nanny. The activities we enjoy include cooking, painting and reading so children learn and achieve at the same time as having fun.
My Experience
I have worked as an after school nanny to two boys 7 and 9. During holidays I took them to places of interest. Another position was with a girl 7 where I had a duel role of tutoring and entertaining her in holiday time. We also took trips to the library, beach and walks along the canal to feed the ducks. I have collected two children, brother and sister, for the many years. I set out school clothes ready for the next day, help with homework and prepare meals.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified teacher with an intermediate food hygiene certificate and enhanced DBS check. I hold a first aid certificate and safeguarding certificate.
My Availability
I am looking for a position as a live out nanny but would be available for school holidays, occasional overnights and weekends. Ideally the family would be near to Tiverton, Taunton or Exeter. I am happy to take children out on visits during their holidays or play at home and am also willing to babysit on occasions as required.
