About Me
My name is Lisa, I am a childminder in the Coney Hall area of West Wickham.
In my last inspection i was graded with Outstanding
I live with my son (born December 2006) and my daughter (born April 2011). Our house is located next to the Coney Hall rec; a large park with a good children’s play area, tennis courts and Parklands Nursery. There are also woodlands nearby, local shops and amenities and we are on a bus route with good links to all of the surrounding areas.
We have a 4 bedroom house with a large play area downstairs and a 200ft back garden. We have a large range of both indoor and outdoor toys that are suitable from birth to 8 years. We also like gardening, cooking and baking, decorating cakes and biscuits, and getting messy with play dough, colouring pens and pencils, chalk, paints, glue, glitter and felt.
My Experience
I love working with children of all ages and have worked with them for all of my adult life; as a Tawny Owl assistant with the Brownies, at a day nursery, as a classroom assistant and as a nanny since 1998. I became a childminder in 2011 after having my second child.
I am a patient, trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, professional, approachable, FUN childminder and am looking forward to having more children in my care; teaching them new things, watching them grow and flourish.
My Qualifications
As well as 16 years experience working with children, I am also NNEB qualified and have been trained in Health and Social Care. I am up to date with my first aid and both myself and my husband have been CRB checked.
I will continue to train and keep my qualifications up to date; Managing Children’s Behaviour, Child Protection and Safeguarding, and Observations EYFS are courses that I am particularly interested in.

I am within walking distance to Wickham Common primary School, parklands Preschool, Jigsaw Nursery and Gatesgreen nursery.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I work from 7.30am until 6pm, however hours are negotiable.
After school sessions: Sessions from 3pm until 6pm, Each session includes a hot nutritious meal.
Settling in sessions:
I offer 2 sessions free charge. Which will be decided between both parties
