My Experience

I have a Diploma in Children's Learning and Development, am DBS checked, have a Paediatric First Aid Certificate
and 17 years professional experience of caring for children from newborns to teens.
I thoroughly enjoy my job. I feel very privileged to be part of the children's lives, teaching them, caring for them and sharing in their new experiences everyday. Every child is an individual and has varying interests and strengths. I pride myself in being able to provide flexible, mindful support to help them flourish, physically, emotionally, academically and socially. I have experience of one to one roles and also multiples.
I love taking the children out to parks, museums, soft play, farms, groups and other interesting places. I’m energetic and love singing, dancing & reading with the children. I’ve been extremely lucky to have worked with such committed, loving families over the years, who respect and appreciate me.

Before working with children, I trained & worked for UCLH as a Dental Nurse, so needless to say a healthy diet and good dental hygiene are two other areas I can offer support in.

I have been told many times I am an excellent cook and potty trainer. I have very recent experience taking a baby through their weaning journey also.

I text parents throughout the day and also use a Nanny App. Parents appreciate this communication; they love receiving diary updates and photos/videos of what their child/ren have been up to!

If I was asked to describe myself I would say I’m bright, kind, loving, honest, a good listener, full of common sense and an asset to any household.
I have a muck-in attitude, flexible and very reliable. I’m happy to work in a shared or sole care capacity.

I’m currently undertaking a level 4 Maternity Nurse course.
