About Me
Hi I'm jo, Im an Ofsted register Childminder aswell as ofsted registered CODP (a mini nursery within a home environment) in the Ensbury Park area, I have 2 children of my own.
We work from my home in the Ensbury Park area from bright spacious 4 bedroom house which has a large open planned kitchen, dining room and lounge providing a fun, friendly, caring 'home away from home' atmosphere and provide a child safe environment to make your child feel relaxed and settled.The children already attending little bugs practically enjoy our large garden which we have our own climbing frame, slides, dens, sand and water, bikes, scooters, and art area.
Play and creativity are the best ways for young children to learn. We provide varied activities to enhance your child's development and ensure they have fun at the same time. We take the children to local parks, play sessions and libraries allowing children to explore different environments.
At least once a month we arrange an outing further from home to places such as Honey Brook Farm, Moors Valley, Oceanarium, and more.
Our vision is to provide the type of care to children that enables them to learn, develop and play. We do this with indoor and outdoor activities and excursions to all the wonderful places Bournemouth has to offer.
My Experience
I have always wanted to work with children and now I have our own I thought child minding would fit in perfectly , before child minding I worked in a day nursery in Christchurch, I was with this company for just over 6 years and I still visit and when completing my level 3 in childcare I carried out 5 different placements for home placements to working in schools.
