Hi, I am a registered Childminder, graded GOOD by Ofsted (February 2020), and a proud member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years).
I’m a young and energetic mum who truly loves working with children. I live with my husband and our two lovely children in a warm, welcoming, non-smoking, and pet-free home environment.
With 16 years of experience in childcare, I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating space where children can feel comfortable and supported. My approach is child-centered, focusing on each child’s individual needs, interests, and developmental stages.
Daily activities include a good mix of fun and learning — such as attending toddler groups 1 to 2 times per week, visiting local parks and libraries, engaging in messy play, quiet time, puzzles, and reading. These activities are designed to promote social skills, creativity, language development, and physical coordination.
I speak fluent English and Filipino and have a good command of Italian, which helps me communicate effectively with diverse families and children.
I believe in working closely with parents to ensure continuity of care and to support children’s growth both at home and in my care. I’m committed to fostering a positive, happy environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
My Experience
I have children of my own and have been working in the childcare sector for 16 years, providing care both in home and home-like environments. I am experienced in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating atmosphere where children can feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow. Working closely with families, I tailor my approach to meet each child’s individual needs and help them develop to their full potential.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Please feel free to message or call me, as my rates are flexible and depend on the number of hours required.
I accept local authority funding for eligible working parents of children from 9 months old, as well as for 2- and 3-year-olds (both universal and extended entitlements). I also accept childcare vouchers.
Please note: I operate on term-time-only contracts.

Laine took care of our 2 year old daughter for about 6 months (we moved to another town) for 1-2 days a week.
She was very professional from the very beginning and provided regular updates all the way through, including the settling sessions.
She was very active with the kids and they went out with them to various places whenever it was possible. Our daughter was always keen going to Laine, and she was even happier when we picked her up.
Laine was also very flexible and whenever we needed random extra days: she accomodated our request to the best ability of hers.
We are very grateful that Laine looked after our daughter so professionally, we never had a minute of doubt that she was in good hands with Laine.
